Prospective graduate students: I am looking for highly motivated PhD/Master students with a background in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Signal Processing/Mathematics/Power Systems. Please contact me along with your CV and transcript if you are interested.

Short Bio

Ren Wang was a postdoctoral research fellow (and a lecturer) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. He received his Ph.D degree from the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University. His research interests include Trustworthy Machine Learning, Population-Based Machine Learning, Machine Learning for Smart Grid, and Machine Learning for Biology (see research lab intro here).
